Ratanui Cottage is a gorgeous 4 bedroom weatherboard home set in beautiful gardens with rural views that will make you feel a world away from the hustle and bustle of "urbanville". Only 1hr 20mins from central Wellington, Ratanui is close enough to escape after work, grab some essential food and wine and get back to nature.....
Set in the middle of Waiorongomai Station the cottage has a new kitchen complete with woodburner and a sunroom that will have you dozing off mid-afternoon.
There are 4 bedrooms so whether it's one family or 2, couples or friends, the spaces are configured to suit a range of groups.
Burlings Bach is just across the paddock from Ratanui Cottage so while it it very private on it's own it is also a great option for 2-3 families to get together and stay in both places! Sleeps 17 between them! Get together for activities and meals but have your own family time too.......

"Thank you for giving us a memorable N.Y's break at waiorongomai station. We absolutely loved it here! Swims in the river, tramps through the bush, wine tasting in martinborough, feeding the pigs, reading, relaxing and lovely food and a few too many drinks to celebrate the new year. That you for leaving us a wee welcome note - all facilities and the set up of the house were just wonderful - we will be back for sure!...."
